Ride Him, Cowboy - After a group of outlaws vandalizes a ranch and injures a ranch hand, their leader, Sims (Frank Hagney), blames a horse named Duke. As the townspeople prepare to execute Duke, John Drury (John Wayne) negotiates a pardon for the animal. Sims, who is in reality a famed killer known as the Hawk, attempts to eliminate John and frame him for a ranch fire. As the angry townspeople search for John, he must prove his innocence and stop the Hawk once and for all.

The Big Stampede - As cattle rustlers terrorize a New Mexico town, Governor Wallace (Berton Churchill) dispatches Deputy Sheriff John Steele (John Wayne) to get to the bottom of the matter. When he arrives at a wagon train that's been victimized by rustlers, John meets a settler, Ginger (Mae Madison), and her uncle, who is later killed by rustlers. But a rival gang led by Sonora Joe (Luis Alberni) comes to John's aid, and they work together to avenge the murder and put an end to the rustling.

Haunted Gold - After receiving a cryptic unsigned letter, John Mason (John Wayne) and his trusty horse, Duke, travel to a mine, where they befriend Janet Carter (Sheila Terry), the daughter of a double-crossed miner. As Mason and Carter attempt to figure out why they were both summoned there, they find themselves the targets of frontier outlaw Joe Ryan (Harry Woods) and his vicious gang. Meanwhile, a mysterious and terrifying ghost appears in the mineshaft with plans of its own.
