Venera is the debut electronic project from James “Munky” Shaffer of the multi-platinum act, KORN and musician Chris Hunt. On July 26th, the project was teased with the single “Swarm”, not letting people know who was part of the band. The glitchy electronic sound that is reminiscent of Aphex Twin and Autechre showed off one side of what Venera’s album will bring. Now with the second single “Hologram (ft. VOWWS)”, we show a different side of the album while at the same time revealing that Venera is in fact Munky from Korn’s new project. The track is one of three on the album featuring guest vocals (the others being HEALTH and Alain Johannes). Rizz from VOWWS 'haunting vocals will win over fans of the dark pop sounds of Halsey as well as the rock and electronic fanbases.
