The Object of My Affection - New York City social worker Nina Borowski (Jennifer Aniston) invites her gay friend, George (Paul Rudd), to move into her apartment after he breaks up with his longtime lover, Robert (Tim Daly). Meanwhile, Nina gets pregnant and decides to keep the baby -- but end her relationship with the child's father, boyfriend Vince (John Pankow). As Nina and George live and raise the baby together, the two grow close -- and Nina realizes she's beginning to fall in love with her friend.

Picture Perfect - Career-driven single woman Kate Mosley (Jennifer Aniston) is trying to get ahead in her advertising job and discovers that her boss is more inclined to promote married people. When her friend Darcy (Illeana Douglas) suggests that she use a photo of an acquaintance as proof of a fake fiancé, the deception seems to work, and Kate gets promoted. However, when her boss wants to meet Kate's husband-to-be, she has to track down the guy, Nick (Jay Mohr), and talk him into playing along with the ruse.

Their father tells them to do what makes them happy, but regrets his advice when one son marries a passenger whom he drives to New Orleans, and the other divorces his wife and announces his impending marriage to his mistress - who turns out to be an old flame of the other brother.
