Another weekend, another comic convention for former TV actor Keith Mahar. This week it’s Supercon; run by sleaze-ball promoter Gil Burkhaulter. Keith is already having a lousy day, week, year which is only made worse when he arrives at the VIP check-in table and the “con” intern doesn’t even recognize him. Most people don’t recognize Keith. His only claim to fame was as a child star in the 80’s on the very non-PC television show Tex Johnson U.S. Marshall. Keith reluctantly joins his close friends Matt Wheeler (cartoon voice-over actor), Allison McNealy (comic book artist), and Brock Hutchinson (80’s TV star who recently came out of the closet) who are also working the convention, but things take a turn for the worst when Keith’s former co-star and Supercon’s big ticket draw for the weekend–Adam King decides to have our heroes fired and banned from the convention with the help of the convention promoter.
