Free Willy - When maladjusted orphan Jesse (Jason James Richter) vandalizes a theme park, he is placed with foster parents and must work at the park to make amends. There he meets Willy, a young Orca whale who has been separated from his family. Sensing kinship, they form a bond and, with the help of kindly whale trainer Rae Lindley (Lori Petty), develop a routine of tricks. However, greedy park owner Dial (Michael Ironside) soon catches wind of the duo and makes plans to profit from them.

Free Willy 2: The Adventure Home - In this sequel to the popular first installment, Jesse (Jason James Richter) is now a teenager living with his adoptive parents (Michael Madsen, Jayne Atkinson) when his half-brother, Elvis (Francis Capra), shows up on the heels of their birth mother's death. When Jesse learns that an oil spill is threatening his old friend Willy the orca, he enlists his crush, Nadine (Mary Kate Schellhardt), and Elvis in an attempt to save the friendly whales from the spill and greedy businessmen.

Free Willy 3: The Rescue - In the third "Free Willy" film, Jesse (Jason James Richter) is 16 and employed aboard a research ship along with his old friend and mentor, Randolph (August Schellenberg). After Jesse meets Max (Vincent Berry), the disapproving son of a whaler hoping to catch Willy the orca for his meat, the two team with oceanographer Drew (Annie Corley) to stop the whalers before they can get to Willy and the rest of his pod, and convince them to give up their cruel and illegal practice.
