Give Me a Sailor - A Navy officer (Bob Hope) and his Navy brother spend shore leave pairing up with two sisters (Martha Raye, Betty Grable).

Thanks for the Memories - The wife of an unemployed writer takes a job with her husband's publisher, who happens to be her ex-fiance.

Never Say Die - A girl (Martha Raye) in love with a bus driver (Andy Devine) marries a rich hypochondriac (Bob Hope) given one month to live.

The Cat and the Canary - Ten years after the death of millionaire Cyrus Norman, his will is to be read out to his six relatives, including Joyce Norman (Paulette Goddard) and Wally Campbell (Bob Hope). Organized by Norman's lawyer, Crosby (George Zucco), the six meet at Norman's eerie New Orleans Gothic mansion. During the reading, the superstitious housekeeper declares that someone will be dead by midnight. Wally fears for Joyce when she is declared the sole inheritor, but all are alarmed when Crosby turns up dead.

The Ghost Breakers - Ten years after the death of millionaire Cyrus Norman, his will is to be read out to his six relatives, including Joyce Norman (Paulette Goddard) and Wally Campbell (Bob Hope).

Caught in the Draft - Don Bolton (Bob Hope) is a movie star with a phobia about loud noises. Not wanting to give up his career and his easy life, he plans to dodge the military draft by getting married. Don meets the lovely Tony Fairbanks (Dorothy Lamour) when she visits his set with her father, Peter (Clarence Kolb), a colonel, and the two are soon engaged. In an effort to boost Tony's opinion of him, Don pretends to join the army. The ruse backfires, however, and he finds himself actually enlisted.

Nothing But the Truth - Gwen Saunders (Paulette Goddard) teams up with her uncle's employee, Steve Bennett (Bob Hope), in an attempt to double her $10,000 investment in the family firm. If she can reach the $20,000 mark, her uncle T.T. Ralston (Edward Arnold) will match the figure. Steve bets that if he can spend an entire day without telling a lie, Ralston and his business partners must double Gwen's money. Bennett then earns the enmity of everyone involved in his attempt to win the bet.

My Favorite Blonde - Vaudevillian Larry Haines (Bob Hope) sets out for California seeking fame and fortune, but instead he finds himself entangled in a world of intrigue and espionage. On the train ride to the coast, Haines meets Karen Bentley (Madeleine Carroll), a beautiful Brit with a big secret: She's a spy who is carrying top-secret codes. When Nazi agents assume Haines and Bentley are colleagues, they frame Haines for murder, forcing the mismatched duo to go on the lam together.

The Paleface - Calamity Jane (Jane Russell) is working undercover for the U.S. government, trying to capture a gunrunner named Terris (Robert Armstrong) in exchange for a pardon for her previous misdoings. But when Jane's partner is killed, she takes up with bumbling dentist "Painless" Peter Potter (Bob Hope) and passes him off as a gifted gunslinger. When Jane is captured by a tribe of Native Americans, however, Potter finds that he actually has to play the hero that Jane has painted him to be.

Sorrowful Jones - A Runyonesque bookie (Bob Hope) receives a gambler's little daughter (Mary Jane Saunders) as a marker for a bet.
